My love for all animals, especially dogs, started from a young age, I was always brought up around them. Living with two dogs, a lizard, and a few rescue parrots in the house, growing up meant it wasn't a quiet one. My Grandparents had always taken me out on day trips to safaris and bird shows from when I was little girl, which is where my love for animals grew. I remember telling them that I would work at a safari one day, to help take care of the animals. As I grew up, I realised that I would never be fully satisfied in a career if it didn't involve animals and this is how I fell into grooming.

I decided to look into grooming courses and went to a taster day. I remember leaving and thinking wow, that was hard work and I stink! Fast forward a few years... and I couldn't picture doing anything else as a career. I know I was made  for this job. 

 

I am always looking at new ways to better my skills and learn even more about dogs. This is why I am currently studying my International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) qualification. ICMG is a globally recognised association with a difference. An important part of the qualification is continuing education.
